We are looking for an experienced, thoughtful and collaborative physiotherapist who is confident working with persistent pain, complex injuries and clients who are not progressing as expected.

The Opportunity
Position: Physiotherapist — Complex Pain, Injury & Rehabilitation
Employment: Permanent Contractor or Employee
Schedule: Part-time with a supported pathway to full-time
Location: 108, 120 2nd Avenue NE, Airdrie, Alberta

You will have the autonomy to practice using your education, clinical reasoning and professional judgment while being supported by a team that wants to see you succeed.
You will work with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including:
- Persistent or recurring musculoskeletal pain
- Complex presentations involving multiple contributing factors
- Injuries that have not responded to previous treatment
- Sports and activity-related injuries
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Motor vehicle accident recovery
- Work-related injuries
- Reduced strength, mobility or physical confidence
- Return-to-work and return-to-activity needs
- Movement limitations affecting daily life
- Clients who require coordinated multidisciplinary care
This is not a room-rental environment where you are handed a treatment space and expected to figure everything out alone.
Revival provides the administrative systems, marketing support, internal referrals, case collaboration and clinic structure required to build a meaningful practice.
The Physiotherapist We Are Looking For:
You are not interested in simply treating the painful area and sending the client home with a generic exercise sheet.
You want to understand:
- Why the problem developed
- What may be preventing recovery
- Which findings are clinically meaningful
- What the client needs from you right now
- What the client must eventually be able to do independently
- When a treatment plan should continue, change or involve another provider
You combine strong clinical reasoning with warmth, curiosity and clear communication.
You are comfortable acknowledging when a case is complex. You do not need to have every answer immediately, but you take responsibility for finding the most appropriate next step.
You understand that excellent care involves more than technical skill. It also requires trust, education, follow-through, documentation, appropriate reassessment and a treatment plan the client can understand.

- Are confident assessing and treating persistent pain and complex musculoskeletal presentations
- Look beyond the site of symptoms while remaining grounded in relevant clinical findings

Qualifications and Requirements
- Registered Physiotherapist eligible to practise in Alberta
- Active registration and good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
- Professional liability insurance
- Current CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, assessment, therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation
- Excellent clinical communication and client-education skills
- Consistent and timely clinical documentation
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-informed and client-centred care
- Willingness to collaborate with Athletic Therapists, Massage Therapists and other providers
- Ability to work independently while remaining engaged with the broader team
Preferred Experience
We are especially interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- Persistent or complex pain
- Chronic musculoskeletal conditions
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Sports injury rehabilitation
- Motor vehicle accident recovery
- Return-to-work rehabilitation
- Concussion management
- Vestibular rehabilitation
- Neurological rehabilitation
- Strength and conditioning
- Active rehabilitation
- Functional capacity or movement assessment
- Clinical mentorship or leadership
Additional Assets
- Five or more years of private-practice experience
- Experience working within a genuinely collaborative multidisciplinary clinic
- Authorization and demonstrated competence in dry needling or IMS
- Acupuncture training and applicable authorization
- Spinal manipulation training and applicable authorization
- Concussion or vestibular certification
- Experience communicating with physicians, specialists, insurers or case managers
- Experience supporting newer clinicians
- Interest in clinical leadership or program development
- Availability for some evening or weekend hours
Advanced certifications are valuable, but they are not a substitute for clinical reasoning, communication, accountability and excellent client care.
