Your Role
Here at the Bufflehead Café, we are looking for servers who are energetic and ready to create a memorable experience with each guest they interact with. Your role will require a passion for customer service while working in a fast paced environment serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Responsibilities
- Meet deliverables set out by the Bufflehead Manager
- Greet guests once they are seated
- Take accurate food & drink orders, upselling whenever appropriate
- Collaborate with the kitchen and barista to ensure a smooth delivery process
- Serve food & drinks to tables
- Checking in with guests throughout their meals
- Collect payments
- Educate yourself on the menu, to understand & communicate the menu options, answering questions & making recommendations when possible
- Provide an excellent dining experience that keeps guests coming back for more
- Help with basic food prep as required
- Ensure the dining area is kept clean and organized at all times
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Serving experience
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to multitask & work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoon, evenings, weekends, & holidays
- Must carry a valid Serving It Right certificate (19+)
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
