About the Job
Reporting to the COO, this position is responsible for leading marketing communications deliverables, working closely with all staff on the tactical implementation of all marketing, communications, promotions, media planning, market research, partner and investor communications. Additionally, the position manages all full-time and contract writers.
The Manager, Marketing and Communications, plays an important role in unifying the brand voice across the Rewind’s communication channels and increases meaningful engagement and collaboration with our market and customers. The successful candidate will work closely with the larger marketing, sales, support and executive organizations to develop custom communications that support the Rewind go-to-market strategy. You can expect to:
Contribute to the development and implementation of Rewind’s Communications and Marketing strategy, including timelines and metrics for determining the results achieved
Develop and manage Rewind’s social media strategy, including integrating channels across platforms of focus, implementing listening and engagement protocols, scheduling social media for new and evergreen content, aligning paid and owned media output and regular reporting
Participate in the creative concept planning of multi-dimensional campaigns that touch various consumer and customer touchpoints
Develop, support and execute communications and marketing initiatives as required
Lead the planning, execution and measurement of all campaigns and initiatives including large-scale annual events and their promotion
Partner with the marketing team for various projects, providing communication advice and counsel or developing and implementing communications plans that achieve program objectives and deliver the greatest impact
Manage and monitor project schedules and work with contractors to ensure that expected results are delivered on time and within budget
Develop website content for Rewind, including editing, graphic elements, updates and changes when required
Seek out innovative opportunities to promote Rewind through traditional and non-traditional media and channels
Assist in the roll-out of new corporate communications strategies
Manage relationships with external vendors, freelancers and contractors
We are looking for candidates with 6 years of experience in a communications, preferably in a management role
You may have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent Diploma and work experience) in communications, journalism, marketing or related field
You should have experience:
Making strategic plans and translating them into actionable, tactical communication programs.
With Software-as-a-Service, SMB and Enterprise marketing
Using platforms such as WordPress and Hubspot
You should have:
A solid grasp of traditional marketing, media relations and social media strategies
Advanced writing skills, for media releases, web and social content, blogs, scripts, and presentations
The ability to multi-task, manage tight deadlines and thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and planning skills, highly organized and a self-starter
The ability to work independently and with a team, with a high degree of comfort to quickly adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
As we are working remotely, communication skills are critical. We are looking for someone who is articulate, persuasive and a passionate communicator with excellent presentation skills
