Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and dependable Part-Time Custodian/Janitors Workers to join our team. We currently have 2 positions available, and we require candidates to have at least 5 or 10 years of experience. These roles are vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. As a Custodian PT worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the highest standards of sanitation and safety are upheld. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning, floor care, garbage removal, and washroom cleaning/restocking.
- Follow established cleaning schedules, checklists, and organizational standards to ensure assigned areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Safely operate custodial equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment; properly handle cleaning chemicals and use required PPE.
- Use appropriate safety signage and follow all workplace safety procedures when performing custodial duties, including safe lifting and handling of supplies, furniture, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate cleaning logs and records and report damaged equipment, maintenance needs, safety concerns, or facility issues promptly to the supervisor.
- Assist with basic facility maintenance tasks when appropriate and complete additional cleaning duties or assignments as directed by the supervisor.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team while maintaining professional and respectful interactions with employees, visitors, supervisors, and management.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of previous experience as a custodian, janitor, commercial cleaner, or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of professional cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, disinfecting procedures, and safe chemical handling.
- Experience operating custodial equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and commercial vacuums preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, supervisors, management, and other facility users.
- Reliable, honest, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning schedules, checklists, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions.
- Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals, use PPE, and perform lifting and manual handling in accordance with workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism when working around offices, personal belongings, and company property.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as required and perform physically demanding duties throughout the scheduled shift.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
