Embroidery Machine Operator
A manufacturer of leather garments is hiring for a full time Embroidery Machine Operator
· Full-time position - $25 per hour
· Location: Toronto near Yorkdale Mall (easy transit route and free parking at the office)
Job Description
· Able to use an industrial sewing machine - thread a needle and setup a bobbin
· Able to use a screwdriver and wrench, and perform basic maintenance on the machine
· Troubleshooting skills to analyse the cause of an issue with any machine malfunction and fix the issue
· Basic computer skills in order to operate the machine – training will be provided
· Trim, fold, bag and box embroidered apparel as needed
· Perform quality control on the apparel, organize, pack and prep boxes for shipment as needed
Qualifications
· Minimum 6 months experience in the embroidery business
· Prior experience using embroidery machine an asset
· Ability to stand, stoop, bend for up to 8 hours per day
· Able to communicate in English – written and oral
· Ability to work under pressure to complete a job on time
· Attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 44 per week

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
