We are growing our team to enhance the care at Marianhill in response to the new Fixing Long-Term Care Act. Therefore, we require more staff. As a result, we are recruiting for a Part Time (.4) Scheduling Clerk
Marianhill is a faith based, not-for-profit organization that provides long-term care, complex continuing care, community support services, palliative and hospice care services. Marianhill is accredited with Exemplary Standing.
Scheduling Clerk
Under the supervision of the Director of Care or designate, the Scheduling Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely data entry as well as maintenance of daily staff schedules utilizing the on-call schedule in preparation for the Home’s payroll submission and for implementing approved schedules of work and maintaining accurate staff records. Such duties are performed in accordance with Marianhill’s Mission Statement, established policies, procedures and current legislation and in a manner which respects the uniqueness, dignity, worth, self-respect, self-determination and autonomy of the client and promotes maximum independence.
Qualifications
1) Post-secondary business/secretarial diploma or equivalent experience is required.
2) Experience with scheduling software is required. Preference will be given to experience with Staff Stat, QHR or similar software.
3) Experience working in a unionized environment.
4) Scheduling experience in the LTC setting an asset.
5) Demonstrated competence in MS Word, Excel, Scheduling and electronic mail.
6) Oral and written proficiency in English is required.
7) Oral and written proficiency in French is considered an asset.
8) Excellent attendance is essential.
Wage: $25.60-$26.30 per hour per local Collective Agreement + 14% in lieu of benefits.

Education certificate, diploma or otherwise must be provided to the Employer and you must participate in the Annual Influenza Program and N95 Mask Fit Testing Program as applicable.
