Wild Rose Caregivers is looking for a reliable, experienced, and highly flexible Health Care Aide (HCA) Driver to join our team in a dedicated Float/Relief position.
This position is ideal for an HCA who enjoys variety, is comfortable working with different clients, and is willing to travel throughout the Greater Edmonton area. As a Float HCA Driver, you will help provide dependable coverage where it is needed most, including caregiver absences, open shifts, temporary assignments, new clients, and other short-notice staffing needs.

What We're Looking For
The successful candidate must:
- Be a qualified Health Care Aide (HCA)
- Have a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Be comfortable driving and transporting clients
- Be willing and able to travel to assignments throughout the Greater Edmonton area
- Have broad and flexible availability
- Be comfortable working with different clients, schedules, locations, and types of assignments
- Be available for short-notice and temporary coverage when required
- Demonstrate excellent reliability, attendance, punctuality, and communication
- Be comfortable adapting to schedule changes based on client and operational needs
- Be willing to work a minimum of 40 hours per week with possibility to work up to 60 hours per week depending on available assignments and operational needs
- Provide safe, compassionate, respectful, and professional care
About the Float Role
Unlike a traditional HCA position with regular client assignments, the Float HCA Driver is specifically assigned where coverage is most needed.You may provide coverage for caregiver call-outs, vacations, open positions, new clients awaiting a permanent caregiver match, temporary schedules, and other urgent or difficult-to-fill assignments.
Flexibility is an essential requirement of this position.
