As our HVAC and Refrigeration division continues to grow, we are looking to add a skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic who wants steady work and long-term opportunity with a respected local company.
Position Overview
This role involves hands-on residential HVAC and refrigeration work, including service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer interaction in homeowners’ residences.
You will play an important role in delivering high-quality service while helping customers improve comfort, efficiency, and indoor air quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Perform installations and maintenance as required
- Work directly in customers’ homes in a professional manner
- Educate customers on system operation and efficiency
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
- Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service
Requirements
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic certification/license (required, Red Seal Preferred)
- Class B Gas Fitter ticket (required or willingness to obtain, depending on role structure)
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Comfortable working in residential environments
- Physically capable of handling tools and equipment
- Professional attitude and strong communication skills
Asset:
- Experience in residential HVAC service or installation
- Sales Skills
