- Pay Rate: $25.27ph+$1 shift premium (Sunday)

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Shipper role is part of our Shipping/ Receiving team who is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt of good into the facility, and the accurate, timely shipment of goods to our customers. The Shipper is responsible for forklift operation as well as basic data entry into our warehouse management system. This position also involves understanding, using, and accurately completing paperwork, and order sheets.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Picking customer orders
- Load store orders into truck using forklift to be delivered to customers.
- Receiving ingredients and items into our facility, and ensuring our items, and food products are properly delivered to their next destinations.
- Ensuring that every order is properly filled according to customer requirements.
- Safely operating a forklift/ cart and following our GMP’s and HACCP protocols.
Required Knowledge Skills and Experience
- Able to complete work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Successful completion of forklift/cart safety training.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of customer brands and requirements.
- A strong working knowledge of computers and an ability to learn our warehouse management system.
- Able to accurately read order sheets, ensure completeness of paperwork and orders.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically demanding work
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Flexibility to work various shifts and duties as assigned
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous factory work or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous experience in food processing with knowledge of HACCP and GMP’s would be an asset
