Summary
A Server is responsible for taking orders and serving of food/beverages to guests in a friendly, timely and efficient manner. Engage their customers and creates a positive experience for guests. Ensure that the highest standards of hospitality are demonstrated at all times.

Day to Day Duties & Responsibilities:
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner.
- Familiar with all drink and food menus, advise guests on which menu items to purchase and make recommendations about pairing food with beverages.
- Assist the bartenders in mixing drinks, preparing for simple orders such as draft or bottled beer.
- Observe guests and ensure tables are enjoying their food and beverages.
- Respond quickly to guest requests or complaints in a professional manner to ensure appropriate action is taken. Inform supervisors and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Answer the phone with the appropriate greeting and answer any questions within your ability.
- Routinely clean, organize work areas, glassware, and silverware.
- Keep all service areas and work stations stocked appropriately and to note items out of stock on weekly order sheet.
- Collect payments from customers, process credit card transactions, and accurately manage cash transactions.
