Responsibilities
Assist with site preparation by clearing debris, loading and unloading materials, and organizing supplies to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Support skilled workers by carrying tools, materials, and equipment to designated areas as needed.
Help with the setup and dismantling of barricades, and safety signage to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning work areas, and ensuring equipment is in good condition. work on sod farm, lifting sods, raking and shovelling
Follow all safety protocols diligently, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all time
Qualifications
Must have drivers license. Previous experience in construction, manual labor, or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
Reliable work ethic with punctuality and a proactive approach to completing tasks.
Basic understanding of construction site operations is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
