Deveraux Developments is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our expanding team in Edmonton. What you bring...
- 2-3 Years of Machine Operating Experience (Telehandler/Zoom Boom/Skidsteer)
-
Skid Steer training is a requirement
-
Valid tickets or proof of tickets for construction, i.e. skid steer, telehandler, manlift
-
Valid Drivers License
-
Carpentry Skills
-
Own transportation to the job site (public transport is not an option)

Ability to lift 50 lbs safely

Experience with residential building or related construction experience

Good communication skills
-
Good organizational skills with ability to get things done according to timelines

Knowledge of hand tools and power tools

Attention to working safely

Physically fit to work on feet for 8 hours

First Aid qualification is an asset
You will...
- Complete necessary rigging and monitoring of loads safely, coordinated with and as per superintendents’ instructions

Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
-
Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
-
Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks; perform routine maintenance on equipment
-
Load, handle and transport materials and heavy cargo safely according to relevant legislation
-
Deliver material to destinations, unload materials and complete paperwork
-
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
-
Report hazards to relevant authorities and Project Management
-
Adhere to Deveraux Safety policies and procedure regarding operating equipment
-
Inspect working environment prior to operating equipment
-
Managing and performing general house keeping and daily cleanup of work area
-
Lead by example by demonstrating the importance of fostering a safety culture
-
Other duties as assigned
