WQS Group team is searching for an Asset and Fleet Coordinator to join the Shared Services team in Fort McMurray, Alberta! As an Asset and Fleet Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing our company's assets and fleet operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, utilization, and deployment of all company assets and vehicles to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with safety regulations. Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:00AM - 5:30PM (30 unpaid break). 40 hours per week, occasional overtime may be required.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate fleet and equipment availability across active projects
- Schedule and track maintenance, inspections, and certifications
- Manage inventory of NDT equipment, rope access gear, tools, and supplies
- Support mobilization and demobilization of assets and fleet
- Maintain accurate asset and compliance records
- Coordinate logistics, shipping, and equipment staging
- Track expenses and support invoicing for fleet and asset costs
- Prepare basic reports on utilization and asset performance
What You Will Bring
- 2-3 years experience in asset and fleet management, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
- Knowledge of non-destructive testing and/or rope access and industrial services is ideal.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record is a must.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as fleet management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
