This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, with a strong focus on Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter Cloud implementations. You will play a key role in bridging business needs and technical delivery, ensuring alignment, clarity, and successful outcomes.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product owners, developers, QA, and stakeholders) to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discussions to elicit and refine business and system requirements
- Produce high-quality documentation such as business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and user stories
- Support Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter Cloud implementations, enhancements, and integrations
- Manage and track timelines, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring alignment with project goals
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure clear communication and shared understanding
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
- Support testing activities, including UAT coordination, defect management, and validation of delivered functionality
- Continuously identify process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
- Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter Cloud Certification
- Proven experience working on Guidewire implementations or enhancements
- Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional and distributed teams
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality

- Experience in the insurance domain, particularly with policy management systems
- Familiarity with rating engines and pricing systems
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, or similar frameworks)
