Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient food service environment. The ideal candidate will support food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and assist in meal assembly to deliver a high-quality dining experience. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and following recipes under supervision
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen work area, including counters, prep stations, and storage spaces
- Assist with restocking supplies and organizing storage areas to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Support the serving staff during busy periods by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards
- Ability to perform basic meal preparation and assist in cooking tasks
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness
