Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting with a focus on quality and efficiency. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate. The position is essential in supporting the overall cleanliness standards of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Clean restaurant areas, kitchen areas, floors, surfaces, and washrooms as needed
- Take out garbage and replace garbage bags
- Sort and remove recycling
- Clean and maintain designated back-of-house areas
- Clean kitchen equipment according to safety instructions
- Follow proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to management
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks before the end of each shift
Skills
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
