Job Responsibilities
- Inspect damaged or worn pallets and determine necessary repairs or rebuilds
- Use hand tools and power tools to repair broken boards, replace nails or staples, and reinforce pallet structures
- Build new pallets from raw materials according to specified dimensions and quality standards
- Utilize an ohmmeter to test electrical components or connections when applicable
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Record all repair and building activities accurately in logs or digital systems
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize workload and meet production deadlines
Qualifications
- Proven experience in using hand and power tools for repair, building, or related woodworking tasks
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices safely and effectively
- Must be able to physically lift, push and pull 40-50lb as needed
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials safely
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is advantageous

- Hand and power tooling - including hammers, crowbars, nail guns, etc.

Shift
Afternoon shift &/ or Day shift available
Afternoons: 1:30PM - 12:00AM (30 hrs/week)
Days: 5:00AM - 1:30PM (24-32 hrs/week)
Pay-rate
$20/hr (pay-bump after probation period)
