Kindercare Wellness is seeking a psychometrist to join our team! We are a private practice located in the heart of midtown Toronto, and we are affiliated with Kindercare Pediatrics, a reputable multidisciplinary pediatric clinic. At Kindercare Wellness, we are committed to providing high-quality evidence-based psychological and psychotherapeutic services and assessments to children, adolescents, adults, and parents.
The Position:
We are seeking a psychometrist to support psychological assessment services, including psychoeducational, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), gifted, and social-emotional assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.
In this role, you will complete standardized test administration, scoring, and preliminary report drafting under the supervision of a registered psychologist. You will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support comprehensive, evidence-based assessments that help clients better understand their strengths and areas of need.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and score standardized cognitive, academic, executive functioning, and social-emotional measures (e.g., WISC-V, WIAT-IV, BASC-3, NEPSY-II).
- Complete clinical interviews with caregivers.
- Prepare preliminary report drafts that integrate background information, behavioural observations, test results, and relevant clinical findings to support the supervising psychologist's interpretation and final report.
- Participate in regular supervision meetings with the supervising psychologist to review assessment findings, discuss clinical impressions, and support professional development.
- Prepare and organize testing materials and protocols for each assessment and complete thorough, timely case notes in accordance with clinic policies and professional standards.
- Ensure all assessment practices meet professional, ethical, and regulatory standards (e.g., CPBAO).
- Collaborate with administrative staff to support smooth scheduling, communication, and case load.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in psychology (completed or in progress).
- Interest in or intention to pursue registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience administering and scoring standardized psychological assessment measures is required.
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills.
- Comfort working with diverse clients and presenting concerns.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage timelines for reports.
- Experience with q-interactive and EMR systems are assets.
