Kids Academy provides quality care for children aged 0–5 in a bright, spacious center with large playgrounds. We focus on play-based learning and a supportive environment for all children.
About the Role
We’re looking for flexible and reliable substitute educators (ECE, ECEA, or Infant Toddler) to join our team on an as-needed basis. This includes covering sick days, vacations, training, or classroom support. Some shifts are scheduled in advance, while others are offered early in the morning for same-day coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials in line with Kids Academy’s framework
- Implement and make necessary adjustments to daily schedule to meet the developmental needs of the children in the classroom
- Follow childcare regulations during work hours, in and outside of the classroom
- Follow the designated lesson plans when interacting with children
- Abide by all policies and procedures set forth by Kids Academy
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Able to communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children
Shift Details
- Most shifts are 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Callouts are sent prior
Requirements
- Valid ECE, ECEA, or ECE IT certification
- Current First Aid & CPR Level C
- Clear Criminal Record Check
- Dependable, responsive, and adaptable
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with children, parents, and colleagues
