The Associate Commercial Insurance Advisor, Level 2 is a key team member in the support and development of the agency operation through the sales and service of Commercial Insurance.
What you’re responsible for:
- Sales, service, and profitable growth of Commercial Insurance products and other products as needed.
- Actively focus on prospecting to introduce new clients to our agency.
- Advise and recommend coverages and policies that best meet client needs.
- Complete front-line risk assessment and selection following underwriting guidelines.
- May complete inspections and re-inspections.
- Achieve individual goals for client service, sales, and productivity.
- Contribute to the achievement of overall agency sales and growth goals.
- Support programs to build multi-service client relationships.
- Respond to client questions and concerns, resolve complaints, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Proactively complete client reviews on Commercial portfolio.
- Introduce clients to home/auto insurance, financial, life and other specialty services in the agency.

To join our team:
- Level 2 general insurance license is required where the Advisor has signing authority to bind the agency to individual policies. Note: If only a Level 1 has been achieved ongoing education will be required to achieve Level 2 subject to a mutual timeline.
- Meet all provincial-licensing requirements in accordance with continuing education in order to obtain and maintain all licenses.
- A minimum of two (2) years of insurance industry experience with commercial sales experience is preferred.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of property insurance products is preferred.
- Skilled in organization, time management, client service, decision making, problem solving.
- Candidate must be comfortable in a technology dependent environment including proficiency with Microsoft office.

Pay: $29.43-$34.21 per hour
