Job Duties & Responsibilities
As a rock truck driver, with you be responsible for hauling materials to different locations on a project. Your duties will include:
- Hauling materials in a 40T rock truck.
- Loading and dumping materials.
- Smoothly operating machine controls.
- Performing routine equipment inspections, meticulously examining tires, fluids, lights and brakes to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Adhering to project specifications and guidelines to maintain quality standards.
- Championing our safety culture by adhering to Morgan's Safe Work Procedures and PPE policies.
- Showcasing your exceptional judgement and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrating your versatility by collaborating effectively with team members and independently taking ownerships of tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a 40T rock truck in heavy civil earthworks, construction, mining or oilfield maintenance services industry.
Requirements
- Must have (or be willing and able to obtain) CSTS-09/ OSSA Regional or BSO or CSO, Intermediate First Aid, H2S Alive and/or Awareness, Bear Awareness
- Able to shovel out equipment tracks
- Provide your own steel toed 6" lace up boots (CSA Approved)
- Able to repetitively and safely lift up to 50lbs.
- Alcohol, Drug and fit to work testing is a pre-employment requirement
