Alberta Land Surveyor
Integrated Geomatics Inc. (IGI) is a Calgary-based company providing survey, remote sensing, and environmental services throughout Western Canada. We are seeking an Alberta Land Surveyor (ALS) to support the delivery of survey services across a variety of energy and infrastructure projects. This role will provide technical leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to high-quality project execution in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Survey Execution & Oversight: Execute a variety of survey projects within the energy sector and related industries.
Review, sign, and take responsibility for survey plans, field notes, and final deliverables.
Ensure compliance with provincial regulations and standards set by regulatory bodies such as ALSA.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise and mentor field and drafting staff to support development and quality outcomes.
Provide technical guidance and support across survey teams.
Technical & Data Expertise: Utilize survey software and technologies to support project delivery.
Support the use of LiDAR, UAV photogrammetry, and other remotely sensed data for analysis and project applications.
Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including environmental and design professionals.
Qualifications
Active commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor (ALS) in good standing.
Proficiency with survey software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroSurvey, or Trimble Business Center.
Experience working with LiDAR, UAV photogrammetry, or related technologies is considered an asset.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $90,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
