Earn a solid income maintaining our current rental fleet and customers while building new relationships and new customers in the Greater Toronto Area, Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo Region & Moncton.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing trailers and related equipment. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. The Trailer Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring that all trailers are in optimal working condition, providing excellent service to our customers.
Duties
- · Perform Vehicle Pre trip Daily
· Travel to and from roadside calls and customer locations
· Diagnose, Service and Repair Truck and Trailers
· Maintain PM’s on Both Fleet and Customer Equipment
· Identifying future Breakdowns / Recommending repairs or replacement parts
· Updating Dispatch and/or Mobile Service Manager
· Providing a Detailed description of repair preformed
· Write down description of parts used
· Maintain Company tools and equipment
· Maintain a healthy and safe environment
· Working at Heights Training
· Preform Vehicle Post Trip Daily
Skills Needed:
· 310J License
· Valid Driver’s License
· Preventative Maintenance experience
· Experienced in Welding / Fabrication
· Diagnostic skills (ABS and Braking system)
· Ability to lift 85 lbs.
· Ability to work independently and productive
