We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on General Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations and help maintain the high standards our customers expect.
Position Overview
As our General Kitchen Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring food quality, consistency, cleanliness, efficiency, and team performance. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys mentoring others while working alongside the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all kitchen staff during daily operations.
- Prepare and cook menu items while maintaining Emilio Finatti standards.
- Train, coach, and mentor kitchen team members.
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation.
- Minimize food waste and monitor food costs.
- Create and maintain staff schedules.
- Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations are followed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
- Assist with hiring and onboarding new kitchen staff.
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure excellent customer experiences.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and maintain a positive work environment.
- Reach labor goals (cut staff when needed)
- Cover shifts as needed
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen management or leadership experience is required.
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant or pizzeria is considered an asset.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Food Safe certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Serving it right.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
