Responsible for a variety of duties within the supply chain. From Purchasing, Inventory, Logistics, Quality and Food Safety. Support role within the department maintaining databases, records, and inventory system. Effective at maintaining customer and supplier relationships with all partners both internal and external. Multitask to manage the workflow through the supply chain.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the various departments to organize, manage and analyze data, utilize best practices to identify issues, streamline processes to provide customer service excellence.
- Works with Procurement Planner to complete cycle counting requirements

Works with scheduling and manufacturing to ensure product available for manufacturing, sales, and material replenishment.

Responsible for accuracy of data entry in the AS400 and CHEP entries. Works with team to ensure correct receiving paperwork.

Monitors and collects data to review status of raw materials, consumables. Works with production and procurement and scheduling to reduce monitor for slow-moving and deadstock items.
- Works with Supervisors to maintain documentation for QC area.
- Works with SQF practitioner to maintain trial documentation and status. Monitor’s sanitation documentation and inspections.

Ensures all materials for the production floor are food manufacturing approved, SDS available and up to date.

Works with Logistics Coordinator to monitor, maintain the Artwork Approval process. Including working within house representative for color swatches and artwork flow through SGS and CSR/Customer approval.
- Maintains the training database/documents, ensures required certifications up to date and training scheduled.

Works with Procurement Planner to verify receipt, pricing and approve for payment all invoices for all purchase orders and freight invoices.
- Participates in physical inventory

Performs administrative and clerical duties in support of function, including data entry, filing and any other work as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Degree or Certificate in Purchasing or Operations with coursework in ERP systems, Purchasing, inventory management, or equivalent experience which provided a general overview of the Supply Chain and inventory practices preferred

Good understanding of supply chain.

Ability to analyze data needed for both purchasing and inventory accuracy

Ability to work well within a team, provide ongoing support for multiple functions, willing to learn new skills and a can-do attitude

Excellent computer skills including Office Suite, AS400 and the ability to learn new systems and train others.
