Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Perform nightly audit procedures, including balancing accounts and reconciling daily financial transactions
- Prepare and review reports on hotel revenue, expenses, and occupancy for management review
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while providing exceptional customer service
- Respond to guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist guests with requests, complaints, or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring the premises during overnight hours
- Update and maintain accurate records of reservations, billing, and guest information
- Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure seamless communication and operational continuity during shift changes
Skills
- Proven experience in front desk operations or hotel front office preferred; hotel experience is a plus
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent phone etiquette skills
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guest populations
- Exceptional attention to detail for accurate financial reconciliation and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service best practices
