We're seeking a skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Journeyperson to work on a variety of residential and commercial HVAC projects. The ideal candidate is a dependable tradesperson who values craftsmanship, works well with others, and has hands-on experience installing and fabricating sheet metal systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and modify sheet metal components for HVAC systems.
- Fabricate ductwork and specialty metal components based on project requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and mechanical plans to ensure quality installations.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal materials using appropriate trade tools and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, foremen, and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
- Follow all workplace safety policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site and work environment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Sheet Metal certification or equivalent industry experience.
- Previous experience in residential and/or commercial HVAC construction.
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to various job sites when required.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
