Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Construction Site Helper to join our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while supporting ongoing building projects. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, physically capable, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Duties
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks such as carrying materials, tools, and equipment around the construction site
- Help with site cleanup, including removing debris and organizing materials to ensure a safe workspace
- Support in loading and unloading construction supplies and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment
- Assist with setting up scaffolding, barricades, and other temporary structures as needed
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials under supervision
- Support team members with miscellaneous duties to ensure project timelines are met
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and guidelines
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation to and from the construction site is preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $16.50-$18.50 per hour
