About the Integrated Rehabilitation and Humanities Program
The Integrated Rehabilitation and Humanities (IRH) program is a BHSc (Hons) program where students are provided with unique and leading-edge learning opportunities that focus on the ‘art and science’ of health and well-being. By drawing on the combined strengths of McMaster’s leading-edge faculties of Humanities and Health Sciences, students take courses that provide the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to address the complex nature of health and well-being. Through cross-faculty experiential learning, coursework and other co-curricular activities, students learn about restoring, maintaining and improving health through rehabilitation using creative approaches grounded in the humanities.
Job Summary
The Instructional Assistant III is responsible for providing pedagogical and technical support to instructors, teaching assistants and students. Designs and modifies large and small group tutorial sessions, and lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum priorities of the instructor within an academic unit, department, or faculty. Forecasts operating budgets for courses. Ongoing responsibility for supervising up to nine (9) Teaching Assistants.
