Location: Hamilton, ON (Near McMaster University)
King Street Dental is seeking a friendly, reliable, and skilled Level II Certified Dental Assistant (HARP Certified) to join our team on a temporary basis to cover a 6-month sick leave, with the potential for extension.
Our practice is conveniently located near McMaster University and offers a supportive team environment with excellent working hours.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (No evenings or weekends)
- Duration: Approximately 6 months, with potential for a longer-term opportunity
- Location: Hamilton, ON
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take and process dental radiographs (HARP certification required)
- Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent chairside support
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed Qualifications:
- Level II Dental Assistant Certification (required)
- HARP Certification (required)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to occasionally assist at our other practice locations is considered a strong asset
- Experience with abeldent software an asset
