We are looking for General Labourers for a 6-7 month renovation project. Pay is dependent upon skills and experience.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Loading and unloading construction materials and moving them to work areas.
- Preparing construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
- Operating and maintaining of construction equipment and tools.
- Putting together and taking apart temporary structures such as scaffolding, wayfinding, etc.
- Helping equipment operators, carpenters, and other trades when necessary.
- Following instructions and coordinating the work with Site Supervisor / Project Manager and/or project team.
- Performing site clean-up.
- Maintaining workplace safety standards in accordance with the provincial occupational health and safety policy.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU:
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs minimum.
- Drywall/taping repair is an asset.
- Shipping/receiving experience is an asset.
- Residential/Light Commercial construction experience is preferred.
- Punctual and reliable.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
