Overview
A&O Contracting Inc. is looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor to manage small to medium projects across the GTA and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone who can lead a small crew while actively working on site
Responsibilities
- Supervising crews of 1–4 workers on demolition and abatement projects
- Performing hands-on work alongside the crew as needed
- Coordinating daily site activities and keeping projects on schedule
- Ensuring work is completed safely and in compliance with Ontario regulations
- Responding to emergency calls (floods, water damage, etc.)
- Communicating with management, clients, and subcontractors
Experience
- Experience in demolition and asbestos abatement (Type 1, 2, or 3 is deal breaker)
- Strong leadership and ability to manage small crews
- Valid driver’s licence with clean record
- Valid type 3 asbestos worker or supervisor certificate
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional emergency response
- Good understanding of job site safety and procedures
Assets (Not Required but Strongly Preferred):
- Experience with rebuild work (drywall, mud & tape, painting)
- Experience in flood/fire restoration
- Familiarity with containment setup and negative air systems
