About Dirt Detectives
Dirt Detectives is a growing Toronto-based cleaning company providing professional residential and commercial cleaning services throughout the GTA. We are building a reliable team of experienced cleaners who take pride in their work and want the opportunity to grow with the company.
The Position
We are looking for an experienced, dependable cleaner to join Dirt Detectives on a part-time basis.
This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible, variable hours with the opportunity for additional work as our client base grows.
Hours are not guaranteed and may vary week to week initially.
You will primarily be assigned to Dirt Detectives clients and will be expected to complete services independently while following our cleaning standards and client-specific checklists.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial cleaning services
- Follow Dirt Detectives cleaning checklists and quality standards
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, offices, common areas, floors and other assigned spaces
- Vacuum, mop, dust, sanitize and disinfect surfaces
- Complete client-specific cleaning requests
- Properly use cleaning products, supplies and equipment
- Perform a final quality check before leaving each property
- Communicate any client concerns, damages or unusual circumstances promptly
- Maintain professional and respectful conduct while inside client properties
- Arrive on time and complete assigned services within the expected timeframe
What We're Looking For
- Previous professional residential or commercial cleaning experience strongly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and checklists
- Professional and respectful around clients and their property
- Comfortable performing physically active work, including standing, bending and lifting cleaning equipment
- Ability to travel to client locations throughout the assigned service area
- Reliable access to transportation is strongly preferred
Compensation
$24.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
There is opportunity for increased hours, compensation and responsibility for team members who consistently demonstrate excellent quality, reliability and professionalism.
Schedule

- Hours will initially depend on client demand
- Potential for increased and more consistent hours as Dirt Detectives continues to grow
