Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our HR department by assisting with various administrative tasks, hiring new candidates, maintaining employee records, and providing exceptional customer service to our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruitment/deployment strategies to ensure that sufficient, quality resources are available to satisfy project and location growth plans.
- Provide metrics to the business on recruitment activities, campaign effectiveness and lessons learned.
- Recruit for our most demanding, high volume projects sites.
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings.
- Maintain employee records, including but not limited to, personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires, including preparing necessary paperwork and conducting orientation sessions.
- Handle employee inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as federal and state regulations.
- Screen candidates and coordinate interviews with respective managers and participate in interviews.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and phone skills, ability to build rapport quickly and make a high number of calls daily.
- Must have a passion for recruitment and ability to manage high volume recruitment.
- Team player and possess a strong work ethic.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a high volume recruitment role, preferably in an open shop environment.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Prior experience in human resources or related fields preferred but not required
