About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hardscape Lead Hand to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a crew on hardscape projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and guide team members.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a crew on residential and commercial hardscape projects.
- Read and interpret landscape and hardscape plans.
- Coordinate daily tasks and ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Install interlock pavers, retaining walls, steps, patios, walkways, and other hardscape features.
- Operate landscaping and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations.
- Train and mentor crew members.
- Maintain a safe and organized job site.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and management.
- Monitor materials, equipment, and project progress.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of hardscape installation experience.
- Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of interlock, retaining walls, grading, excavation, and drainage.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, and other landscape equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license (DZ license considered an asset).
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
