Job Summary
Velocity Vehicle Transfers Inc. is seeking reliable and professional Truck Transfer Drivers to join our growing team. This position involves safely transporting commercial vehicles from pickup to delivery locations across Ontario, and occasionally across Canada.
As a Truck Transfer Driver, you will operate a variety of vehicles in a drive-away service model—no freight handling required. Drivers are responsible for completing vehicle transfers efficiently, conducting pre-trip inspections, and maintaining clear communication throughout each assignment.

Responsibilities
- Safely transport commercial vehicles (trucks, buses, and specialty vehicles) from pickup to delivery locations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any issues
- Ensure vehicles are delivered on time and in excellent condition
- Follow all MTO, and company safety regulations
- Maintain accurate trip records and required documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding trip updates, delays, or concerns
- Represent Velocity Vehicle Transfers Inc. in a professional and courteous manner with clients
- Plan routes efficiently and adapt to changing schedules or conditions
- Travel within Ontario, Canada and USA
Experience & Requirements
- Valid AZ, DZ, CZ, or BZ driver’s license (must be in good standing)
- Minimum 1–2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR (or ability to provide upon request)
- Comfortable operating a variety of commercial vehicles (manual transmission experience is an asset)
- Ability to travel for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, trip planning, and defensive driving practices
- Ability to complete basic paperwork and inspection reports accurately
- Professional attitude with strong communication and time management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be bondable
- Must be able to cross the border
- Must have a valid Canadian Passport or Permanent Residence with a B1/B2 Visa
- Pay Rate - local $23 hour to start, $24 after 3 months probation
- Pay Rate - long distance within Canada, $300 per day with extra hotel and food allowance
- Pay Rate - long distance USA, $380 per day with extra hotel and food allowance
