The Technical Information Coordinator is responsible to manage external suppliers in their content creation activities. The main goal is to ensure that the content is done with reasonable efforts in a timely manner with acceptable quality.
As a Technical Information Coordinator, you will be responsible to coordinate deliverables with external suppliers and support them to create the required content. Be creative, the status quo will not be an option. Find ways to challenge your suppliers and work with them to deliver innovative results.
Your end goal is to help our supplier deliver innovative content that will enhance our customer experience.
Working in close collaboration with the senior technical content coordinator, you will ensure that the deadlines are met.
To monitor the quality of the deliverables, you can rely on the help of the team’s internal technical writers.
You will be supporting and guiding the external suppliers to ensure they succeed.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze and manage existing content for modification requests
Ensure creation of innovative, high-quality content that meets standards
Support external suppliers with access, use of internal software, use of internal database and internal processes
Keep track of supplier deliverables and progress
Analyse supplier performance and efficiency
Coordinate with various stakeholders internal and external to the organization to achieve your goals
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree required
3+ years of project management/coordination experience required (agile, waterfall or gate planning)
Experience with negotiation with suppliers required
Basic Knowledge of DITA, xml architecture or web output capabilities preferred
Knowledge of content creation software such as: PTC Arbortext, Oxygen, Madcap preferred
Knowledge of mechanical concepts preferred
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
