With increased visibility in North America, an enhanced awareness in the business community and a proactive Sales team, we are currently looking for an Account Executive to join our growing team.
As a member of the Sales team, you will have a diverse role and should expect to hold several hats that will relate to providing the best experience to our customers and prospects. Your role will involve generating new sales, being instrumental in bid management, account management, and other sales support functions. The ideal candidate should have a degree or diploma in business, technology or 2-3 years of experience in a related field. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, highly organised and will be able to autonomously manage a variety of competing tasks effectively.

Seek out new business from our account base and beyond
Prospect to uncover new sales opportunities within assigned territory
Manage complex sales cycles and effectively present the value of our applications to C-level executives of organizations
Develop a deep understanding of the product offering, customer needs, and a competitive landscape
Achieve and exceed monthly quota targets while developing and building a strong customer base
Create presentations, customer proposals/quotes, events and other face-to-face sales activities
Attend the customer/prospect site and provide software demonstrations
Monitor government tender websites (Merx, Biddingo, etc.) for upcoming bids
Coordinate bids and tender responses with the rest of the Sales team
Manage and maintain the CRM solution (Salesforce), including the accuracy of data and reporting
Proactively liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner in accordance with timelines set out by your manager
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in personal societies
Adherence to and compliance with ISO 27001 Information Security Standards as applicable
Attend trade shows in North America as required
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING
Independent and strategic thinking with a track record of excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
A self-driven and ambitious in nature with superior planning and organisations skills
Develop a sound understanding of the Unit4 ERP product
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Possess intellectual maturity and have a solution focused approach to problem solving
A Degree or Diploma in Business/Commerce, Information Technology, Information Systems or related fields
5+ years proven success in consistently achieving/exceeding monthly quota targets in technology-based sales
Knowledge of ERP/HR/Payroll/Financial software
Knowledge of SaaS-based software sales
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
Knowledge of Salesforce is desirable
Experience in working in a fast paced, software or technology company environment
Valid passport, ability and willingness to travel (rarely internationally, as required)
Applicant must already be legally allowed to work in either the US or Canada
