DW Dirtworks is a locally-owned excavation and earthworks company serving southern Alberta. Our crews handle civil excavation, earth moving, deep services installation, drainage, site preparation, demolition, reclamation, and heavy equipment hauling, work that depends on drivers who can move our iron and materials safely and efficiently from job to job. We're looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our truck crew and help keep our fleet, and our projects, moving.

We're looking for an experienced driver who takes pride in running heavy equipment safely down the highway and onto the jobsite. You're comfortable hauling oversize and specialized loads, you know your equipment, and you treat every load, and every other driver on the road, with the respect that heavy hauling demands. If you've got the experience and the professionalism to match, we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record. Non-negotiable.
- Proven experience hauling heavy equipment on lowbed, drop deck, or equipment trailers.
- Experience with Super B side dump combinations is a strong asset.
- Experience with oversize loads and jeep and booster configurations is a strong asset.
- Working knowledge of National Safety Code requirements, pre-trip inspections, and load securement.
- Reliable transportation to report to our Fort Macleod shop every morning.
- A safety-first mindset and strong communication skills with dispatch, crews, and other drivers.
OUR EQUIPMENT
You'll be running a diverse fleet built for hauling heavy equipment and bulk materials across our jobsites. Depending on the day, that includes highway tractors paired with Super B side dump combinations, gravel trucks and pup trailers, water trucks, and equipment trailers such as goose neck, drop deck, and Landall trailers, plus jeep and booster setups for oversize and specialized hauls.
