Organization-Ground Handling

Job Summary

Under the coordination of the Lead or the In Charge of the passenger service, the agent will take care of the operations related to the reception of passengers, the arrivals of flights, the check-in process at the counters. The agent must meet the specifications of the airline company.

Responsibilities
Give exceptional and personalized customer service;
Welcome, inform and direct the passengers at the check-in counter;
Register the passengers as well as their luggage in the computer system;
Assist the passengers with special needs (MAAS) like wheelchairs, UM, YPTA, etc.;
Conform to the legal rules pertinent to the airport industry, Health and Safety at work as well as all the other company’s policies and work procedures;
Assist or coach the new agents;
Broadcast messages in different areas of the airport;
Do the luggage research and related tasks, following the procedure established; by the company and/or the client;
Take care of the ticketing and operate the cash register, following the procedure established by the company and/or the client;
Take care of the reservations and related tasks, following the procedure established by the company and/or the client;
Operate the bridges if necessary.

Qualifications and Competencies
Experience as an essential customer service agent;
Bilingualism (French, English), oral and written, 3rd language (asset);
Sense of initiative, versatility and good stress management;
Excellent organization, autonomy and professionalism;
Diplomacy and team spirit;
Be physically fit;
Available to work under different shifts (day, evening, night and weekend) depending on operational requirements;
Salary : 15.50 $/h
