Smile4Therapy is seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated ABA Therapists to provide individualized services to children and youth across Ontario.
Position: Independent Contractor ABA Therapist
Locations: Across Ontario
Service Settings: In-home and community-based services across Ontario, with centre-based opportunities available in Ottawa
Schedule: Flexible, with after-school, evening, and weekend availability preferred
Compensation: Competitive contractor rate based on education and experience
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized ABA programs developed by the supervising clinician
- Provide one-to-one ABA therapy in clients’ homes, community settings, or at our Ottawa centre
- Collect accurate session data and complete all required clinical documentation
- Support communication, social, play, daily living, academic, and behavioural goals
- Follow behaviour support plans, safety procedures, and ethical requirements
- Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings as required
- Communicate professionally with families and the clinical team
- Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Behavioural Science, Psychology, Autism and Behavioural Science, Child and Youth Care, Social Service Work, Education, or a related field
- Experience supporting children or youth with autism or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of ABA principles, data collection, reinforcement, prompting, and behaviour support
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while following clinical direction
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to assigned client locations
- Professional liability insurance, or willingness to obtain it
- RBT certification is considered an asset but is not required
- Fluency in additional languages is considered an asset
Contractor Requirements:
The successful candidate will provide services as an independent contractor and will be responsible for their own transportation, insurance, taxes, invoicing, and other contractor obligations.
