Effibike Inc. is a growing E-bike sales and service hub. We are passionate about green mobility and providing our community with the best electric bikes and expert repairs. We are looking for a motivated Sales Associate to join our growing team.
The Role
You will be the face of Effibike, helping customers find the perfect electric bike to suit their lifestyle. You'll handle everything from initial greetings to closing sales and explaining basic maintenance.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience.
- Provide exceptional service in both English and Bengali.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, offering knowledgeable recommendations and conducting product demos when appropriate.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system and Google Workplace accurately for transactions and record keeping, including cash handling, credit card processing, warranty processing.
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant items to increase sales.
- Maintain store merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are attractively presented.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting remote customers.
- Keeping the floor "ride-ready".
Requirements
- Language: Must be fluent in English and Bengali (Bangla).
- Prior retail sales or cashiering experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions.
- Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking, organizing displays, and conducting product demos confidently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor, and proactive approach.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
