Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Events Assistant to support the planning, coordination & execution of various events. This role involves working closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with a background in hospitality, guest services, or restaurant experience being a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in marketing, upselling, negotiation, and customer service within a dynamic environment dedicated to creating memorable events.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the behind the scenes planning & coordination of corporate, social, and special events from behind the scenes
- Manage event logistics including venue setup, vendor communication and client needs
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing client needs and ensuring a positive experience
- Maintain detailed organizational records related to event budgets, timelines, deposits and vendor contacts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all aspects of the event meet quality standards and client expectations
- Handle administrative tasks such as preparing contracts, invoices, and event documentation
- Assist with on-site event management as needed to ensure smooth operations during events
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environments is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with clients
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proven time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and upselling techniques is advantageous
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and positive guest interactions
- Basic knowledge of Google Workspace platforms (gmail, docs, sheets, draw, etc.) is required
- Familiarity with customer service principles and guest relations best practices
- Experience in event planning or coordination is a plus but not required

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
