Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pizza Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering hot, fresh pizzas to customers promptly while providing excellent service. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks efficiently. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport pizzas and other food items to customers’ locations
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining food quality and presentation
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries
- Assist with loading and unloading supplies, including moving heavy or bulky items when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding delivery status or issues
- Assist in warehouse tasks such as moving inventory or stock when needed
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and moving, including experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts (nice-to-have)
- Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of moving or standing
- Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with logistics and inventory handling
- Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or maps, ensuring timely deliveries
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
