Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ECE (Early Childhood Education) Assistant to support classroom activities and foster a nurturing learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will assist lead teachers in implementing educational programs, engaging children in developmental activities, and ensuring a safe and inclusive space for all students. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in early childhood education while making a positive impact on children's growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Support lead teachers in planning and executing daily classroom activities aligned with curriculum standards
- Assist children with their daily routines, including snack time, bathroom breaks, and rest periods
- Engage children in educational play, arts and crafts, and learning exercises that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to early childhood education
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing additional assistance as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and learning spaces
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with young children is essential.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to fostering early childhood development
Pay: $24.00-$27.50 per hour
