Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and expertly preparing and serving beverages. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, cash handling, and POS systems, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. The Bartender will play a key role in enhancing the overall guest experience through professionalism, attentiveness, and hospitality expertise.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and change.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment and prevent over-serving.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent hospitality service in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and bill calculation purposes.
- Ability to work in a hospitality environment that values teamwork, professionalism, and attentiveness.
