Job Summary
ArGansLab at the Wilfrid Laurier University is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join an interdisciplinary research program focused on artificial intelligence, software development, computational biology, and drug discovery. The successful candidate will work closely with academic researchers and industry partners to develop next-generation computational tools and AI-driven platforms for therapeutic discovery.
Responsibilities:
- Artificial intelligence and machine learning development for drug discovery
- Scientific software and web application development
- Computational biology and bioinformatics
- Molecular modelling and structure-based drug design
- Generative AI and predictive modelling for biomolecular research
- Data analytics, visualization, and decision-support tools
Preferred Background: Applicants should hold a PhD in a relevant field. Demonstrated experience in Python programming, machine learning, artificial intelligence, scientific software development, and computational approaches relevant to biomedical research is highly desirable.
