Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of two years experience in retail service or sales
- 1 year experience in merchandising houseware products
- Ability to adapt quickly to help achieve our goals
- Strong attention to detail and eye for design
- Familiarity with the design elements of a higher end holiday tree
Job Summary
Our season Christmas decorator will work with the manager to help ensure we produce an inspiring and beautiful environment for our clients during the holidays. They will help set up, maintain, and take down a large amount of fully decorated Christmas trees of varying heights. They will need to work quickly and efficiently with a detail-oriented focus. They will need to learn the Christmas décor inventory and product knowledge to effectively carry this out.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Put together a number of everlasting trees of varying heights and prepare them for the sales floor; test lights, fluff branches, inspect overall quality
- Organize and prep all decorations; fluffing floral sprays, organizing lights and ornaments
- Executing the design vision of the manager by decorating each tree with the instructed materials
- Re-merchandise decorated trees to flex different product and accommodate for sell through
- Set up accompanying sales floor table displays for all designed trees as well as maintaining them through the season
- Assist with the take down and inventory of Christmas décor once the season is complete

Pay: From $15.30 per hour
