B&J Global Inc. is a growing logistics and warehousing company providing 3PL warehousing, cross-border transportation, e-commerce fulfillment, Amazon FBA logistics, and freight services across Canada and the United States.
We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team.
Fluency in Mandarin is required for this position, as approximately 80% of the daily communication involves coordinating with Mandarin-speaking clients, customers, vendors, and our China-based teams. The successful candidate must also be able to communicate effectively in English in a professional work environment.
This role is suitable for someone with logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, freight forwarding, or 3PL experience who is comfortable handling multiple shipments and coordinating between different parties.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics operations, shipments, pickups, and deliveries
- Communicate regularly with Mandarin-speaking clients and China-based operations teams
- Coordinate with warehouses, drivers, carriers, trucking companies, and customers
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to clients
- Handle shipment delays, delivery exceptions, scheduling issues, and other operational problems
- Arrange LTL, FTL, small parcel, and cross-border shipments
- Coordinate Canada–U.S. transportation and warehouse transfers
- Prepare and review shipping documents, delivery instructions, and operational records
- Enter and update shipment information accurately in internal systems
- Follow up with customers, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure shipments are completed on time
- Assist with freight quotations, rate inquiries, and shipment scheduling
- Support Amazon FBA, e-commerce fulfillment, and 3PL warehouse operations when required
- Maintain accurate records and prepare operational reports
- Work closely with internal teams to improve logistics efficiency and customer service
Language Requirement
Mandarin – Required
Candidates must be fluent in Mandarin due to the nature of the position and the high volume of daily communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and China-based teams.
English – Required
Candidates must also be able to communicate effectively in English with local customers, carriers, drivers, vendors, and internal team members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, warehousing, 3PL, or supply chain operations is preferred
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle operational exceptions
- Detail-oriented and responsible
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general computer systems
- Comfortable communicating with customers, carriers, warehouse teams, and drivers
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Canada–U.S. cross-border logistics
- Experience in a 3PL or e-commerce warehouse environment
- Experience with LTL, FTL, parcel, and trucking operations
- Experience with Amazon FBA logistics
- Experience working with Chinese customers or China-based logistics teams
- Freight forwarding or import/export experience is considered an asset
