Job Description
Aramark Canada is seeking a Team Lead to join the team at Second Cup in the Killam Library at Dalhousie University! Reporting to the Supervisor, the Second Cup Team Lead is responsible for leading the front line team in providing an exceptional customer service experience!
Job Responsibilities
Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
Follows franchise operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift
Assist Supervisor with onboarding new team members
Perform opening and closing duties
Light cash handling duties, including processing customer transactions, assisting with deposits, and participating in cash audits
May assist Supervisor in adjusting team schedule based on team outages
May host team huddles to discuss safety briefs, events, and pertinent information
May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1+ years’ experience working in the food and beverage industry required
1+ year's experience in a leadership role required
Experience working at Second Cup franchise considered an asset
Serve Safe and First Aid considered an asset
Exceptional customer service skills
Must be able to lift, push, pull min. 25 lbs.
